Brandi and Alyssa had the opportunity to visit a few projects currently underway:
The new community housing complex off of Spenard, a steel framing project nearby the soon-to-be-open Sonic, and the new Maple Springs Assisted Living Facility.
We appreciate our superintendents for their support in keeping their crews safe,
especially during these winter months, when there are a lot of cold weather elements on the job sites.
With the new year upon us, we would like to take a moment to thank all of our colleagues, partners, and clients for an amazing year of hard work and safety dedication!
We have had a wonderful opportunity to share our skills and expertise and we look forward to all the many projects and goals we hope to accomplish in 2022! #alaskaconstruction #sitesafety #safetyandhealth #constructionlivesmatter #2021 #happynewyear2022 #thebestisyettocome...
Safety on Site: Crews are just beginning to wrap up on the second year of work on the new petroleum and cement terminal, down at the Port of Anchorage. Having sustained significant damage from the November 2018 earthquake, the new PCT will replace a petroleum offloading terminal originally built in 1965.
One of SafeLogic’s services is assisting our partners with company tailored safety trainings and further skill development. We recently had the opportunity to work with LTR Training Systems to provide a 2-day Certified Tower Climber and Rescuer course. The curriculum was designed to train workers in OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, safe work practices, and emergency response in the event of a fall.
These trainings are not only valuable and important for new hires, but are great refresher courses for even the most experienced linemen.
